KBIS 2025: Key Trends in Decorative Plumbing & Hardware
The 2025 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS), held at the Las Vegas Convention Center, highlighted the latest innovations and trends in decorative plumbing and hardware. This year’s event showcased 30 member brands from the Decorative Plumbing and Hardware Association, reflecting a diverse array of industry advancements.
Molly N. Switzer, principal designer and owner of Molly N. Switzer Designs LLC, noted a significant shift in the industry’s landscape. “This year’s KBIS felt like a direct response to designers’ calls for more complete and cohesive product lines,” she says. “We saw a departure from stark contemporary designs in favor of warmth, softness and comfort in both color and shape.”
In addition to this overarching trend, Switzer identified other key developments that are shaping the industry in 2025:
MIDCENTURY INFLUENCES
Brizo’s Frank Lloyd Wright series of kitchen pieces with inlaid wood blends classic craftsmanship with modern sensibilities. Berenson matches the trend with its Domestic Bliss collection of knobs and pulls.
SOFTER COLOR PALETTES
Bocchi’s introductions include a new farmhouse-style kitchen sink in a muted tone and a teardrop-shaped vessel sink in soft mint green. New from Lacava are colorful vessel sinks, including a serene soft blue.
TEXTURAL DETAILING — KNURLING & FLUTING
Lacava’s Flutti collection includes a widespread faucet collection and vanity, while Viefe’s intricately knurled hardware and fluted cabinetry and Berenson’s assortment of finely knurled hardware bring dimensionality to luxury spaces.
