Designers’ Favorites – What is Your Favorite Dining Table?

Writer Marirose Krall

Heather McManus – Zimmerman Chair Elements Table

“I love the company Zimmerman Chair. All of their products are real wood and made in the USA. My current favorite is from the company’s newest collection, called Elements. In this collection, bases and tops can be chosen separately to create a variety of tables. Here, the Xenon base offers a sharp transitional look. The thick wood top has extensions at each end to seat more guests. It’s a true updated classic look that will stand the test of time.”

Rachel Katz – Century Omni Dining Table

“When choosing a dining table, or any furniture, I look for pieces that have a timeless and elegant feel. This allows me to leave my clients with something they love and that can adapt to any style changes. The Century Omni Dining Table features an acrylic base that is light and airy. The top is clean and simple, so it can be customized to someone’s exact needs and specifications. In general, a pedestal base allows more flexibility to add people around the table. It is for all these reasons that I love this as a timeless and elegant dining table.”

Terry and Sydney Gierlatowicz – McGee and Co. Derby Dining Room Table

“The Derby Dining Room Table is versatile due to the lovely detailed pedestal legs and the unique character of the reclaimed wood. It can be paired with elegant upholstered chairs for a formal setting or with eclectic and transitional chairs for a more modern feel. Whatever way you use this table, its rustic classic charm will make guests feel relaxed and welcome.”
